I am a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Innovation Management at the Business School, the University of Auckland, New Zealand. I hold academic leadership roles, as the Editor-in-Chief of Research-Technology Management and Associate Editor of Journal of Innovation Management. I am also a Visiting Associate Professor at RMIT University, Australia.

My research program examines how organizations and researchers access, govern, and leverage external knowledge for commercial and societal value. I work with strategic management theories and concepts to examine innovation and technology strategy related problems.

I have been awarded the Runner-up Award in the 2023 Aotearoa Business and Economics Research Translation Competition. This is a national level competition among business schools in New Zealand.

I am the recipient and key researcher in the competitive, government-funded Endeavour Fund 2022 Research Program. This NZ$10.3 million research program examines the development and transfer of Construction 4.0 technologies. 

Passionate about creating impact from research beyond academia, I co-lead the ISPIM Frontiers of Impact Special Interest Group (SIG). Within the University of Auckland, I am affiliated to the New Zealand Asia Institute, Circular Economy in Business Beacon, and Ngā Ara Whetū Centre for Climate, Biodiversity & Society.
