I am a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Innovation Management at the Business School, the University of Auckland, New Zealand. I am also the Editor-in-Chief of Research-Technology Management and Associate Editor of Journal of Innovation Management.

My research focuses on the strategies and processes that firms use to source and leverage technologies, capabilities and knowledge to create innovative products. I work with strategic management theories and concepts to examine innovation and technology strategy related problems.

I have been awarded the Runner-up Award in the 2023 Aotearoa Business and Economics Research Translation Competition. This is a national level competition among business schools in New Zealand.

I am the recipient and key researcher in the competitive, government-funded Endeavour Fund 2022 Research Program. This NZ$10.3 million research program examines the development and transfer of Construction 4.0 technologies. 

Passionate about creating impact from research beyond academia, I co-lead the ISPIM Frontiers of Impact Special Interest Group (SIG). I am also a member of the Circular Economy in Business Beacon and affiliated researcher of the Ngā Ara Whetū Centre for Climate, Biodiversity & Society; both at the University of Auckland.
